Guinean Ministry of Mines and Geology – Minister Bouna SYLLA promotes five executives

In a decree read on national television, five executives of the Ministry of Mines and Geology were promoted. These are:

  1. Daouda Diakité, promoted to Senior Advisor, replacing Dr. Nabi Laye Moussa SYLLA. Mr. Diakité was previously Deputy National Director of Geology.
  2. Laye KANDE, appointed legal advisor, replacing Mamadi TRAORE. Previously, Laye KANDE was a lawyer at the Ministry of Mines and Geology.
  3. Fatoumata Binta BALDE, promoted to advisor in charge of mining infrastructure issues. Previously, Fatoumata Binta BALDE was a senior consultant at the World Bank Group.
  4. Raphael GNABALAMOU, raised to the position of technical advisor, replacing Mamadouba Koba SOUMAH. Previously, Raphael GNABALAMOU held the position of Deputy Director General of the Mining Cooperation and Investment Service.
  5. Kadiatou BANGOURA, appointed Adviser in charge of the mission.

It should be noted that these five (5) executives enjoy the trust of Minister Bouna SYLLA only five (5) months after his appointment as Minister of Mines and Geology.
